The manual aims at providing a reflection of Montagu Community Living's committment to contemporary and quality service provision while creating a valuable resource concerning the organisation of the service.

The Montagu Community Living Policy and Procedure Working Party reviewed the manual in 2002. However, original development of the manual included contributions from the residents and a working party comprising of the Manager, Co-ordinaotrs, staff representatives from each house and a representative from the Board of Management. Acknowledgements also need to be directed towards the organisations of Family Planning Tasmania, Star Tasmania, Sunlea Team, Tagari Lia ( now Nexus) and Disability Services whose assistance and reference during the creation of the manual was invaluable.

While primarily written for the staff of Montagu Community Living, the contents of the document are available for any interested party upon request.
