- Understand and develop their rights, roles and responsibilities;
- Achieve increased independence and participation within their home and community;
Montagu Community Living Inc. is committed to the principles and objectives of the State Disability Services Act 1992.
General Information
Montagu Community Living Inc. is governed by a Board of Management who seek to ensure that the association complies with its constitution.
The objectives of Montagu listed in its constitution are:
- To provide a supported accommodation service in the community;
- To promote and facilitate participation of the residents in the life of the general community, focusing on developing independence and self confidence;
- To promote, develop and implement strategies that give residents greater control of their life.
Montagu is a non-profit organisation that is funded jointly through state and federal funding programs.
